I had a lovely time at Hutcha Resort, which is beautifully set right on the beach. The atmosphere was fantastic, with a nice pool and friendly local community nearby. However, the rooms were a bit small and basic for the price, and the outdoor bathroom may not be everyone's cup of tea. Overall, it felt like a paradise retreat, especially for those who don’t mind some nature’s company.
I stayed at this resort as it was conveniently close to the ferry pier for Koh Phangan. The outdoor bathroom concept felt unique but came with its own challenges, particularly with insects. While the resort itself had beautiful facilities, I think next time I might look for something a bit more enclosed for comfort. Overall, the experience was decent, especially since the service was warm and welcoming.
Hutcha Resort has a charming atmosphere with a lovely pool area and delicious food at the restaurant. However, the bungalows are quite small and can be uncomfortably hot if you opt for a fan room. While the restaurant staff were attentive and friendly, I encountered significant issues with room maintenance and service throughout my stay, making it a mixed experience overall.
I found the hotel to be a hidden gem with fantastic value for money. The rooms were spacious, clean, and offered a unique outdoor shower experience, which I adored. The pool was large and mostly empty during my stay, making it a peaceful escape. However, some areas could use improvement, particularly the laundry service and the occasional mosquito presence. Overall, I'd highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway.
The hotel is located in a peaceful part of Samui, ideal for escaping the hustle and bustle. The beach is nice and often quiet, perfect for relaxation. The staff are welcoming, and the breakfast options have certainly improved since last year. However, the resort shows some signs of wear and could use better maintenance, particularly in the gardens and amenities.
